Primary Purpose:
The Ticket Seller will support the Box Office and Ticket selling operations for the University of the Pacific Box Office. This is mainly a role supporting Athletic ticketing events, but there may be other ticketed events supported such as the theater, commencement, and other campus-wide events.
Essential Functions:
Pacific Box Office ticket sellers work Pacific Athletic events selling tickets on the day of game or for outside vendors who rent Pacific facilities. Ticket sellers are responsible for:
Selling tickets
Handling cash and card payments
Reconcile sales at the end of the event
Filing office paperwork
Answering phone calls
Processing orders
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
One (1) year in a customer service-related role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable speaking and dealing with the public.
Basic Knowledge of computers and printers.
Basic Mathematic skills.
Bilingual with a knowledge of Spanish.
Familiar with Box Office and/or Ticketing operations.
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Duties require constant sitting and repetitive motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Frequent walking, standing, and simple grasping. Occasional climbing stairs, walking across campus, stooping, and reaching. Constant communication using both spoken and written means. May be required to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work performed during standard business hours, overtime may be necessary based on business needs. Some work may be performed during odd hours, nights, and weekends.
Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience, non-exempt
